Knallrot! Barry M Bright Red

I recently shared with you that I'd found a new polish brand to love - Barry M - so here is another taste from their collection - Bright Red!


Not so creatively named, but they really mean it. This is a red with orange-ish undertones that is just really really bright!! My picture isn't showing exactly how on-the-verge-of-neon it really is. Or maybe it just looks that way since I'm so pale. Either way, the only thing I could think of to describe this was the German expression/word - knallrot! Like - POW! RED!

I'm a little chicken to wear this right now...maybe I'll be braver in summer? It looks drop-dead gorgeous on toes though!

    never too bright! all the barry m's i own are Crazy colors!

    Not too bright at all. Barry M does good, strong colours. They wasted no creativity on the names though...

    @Sue - Sort of! My mother is German (like really German - born and raised in Hamburg) and I'm a German citizen, but I was raised in Holland.

    @jbrobeck - Hehe you are so brave!!

    @jaljen - Haha some of the names are so bland they actually make me giggle. But they do great colours thats for sure!

    @Katherine - Thank you!! Yeah maybe in summer I'll feel a little gutsier??

    I wear polish that is highlighter pink with sparkles. Nothing is too bright.

    It looks very good! Nothing is too bright, although I don't like to wear bright reds as I don't think they do my skin tone any favours! :)

    There is literally no color I won't wear. My favorite outrageous is a neon green with a bit of blue shimmer. It makes me laugh when I can watch people's eyes following my fingers when I'm talking. :)

    Acid-bright neon is too bright for me, this however might work...

    @sparris - Thanks for the Swedish fact! That's really neat!!! Yeah this isn't acid-bright neon...but its quite bright...brighter than the picture shows!
