China Glaze Fault Lines over Huemorista Hidden Rainbow
Errr. This was not pretty. Is there a reason this dried so dull and cracked so sadly? C'mon, it was a purple shimmer crackle! That's practically a formula for gorgeous, no? :( This is one thick coat of Fault Lines.

For big cracks you really need to do one thin even coat, and you'll probably need to do a top coat. My CG crackles did the same thing.
You could put some thinner in it if you wanted, it doesn't mess them up. At least it doesn't mess the OPI crackles up.

Maybe a thinner coat and polish thinner will help? I know that thinner coats give you more cracks with little space between, and I think the thicker coats give you fewer cracks with bigger spaces between.
The color is pretty though. :)

I agree...yuck. But this is so why I am not a shatter/crackle fan at all. Looks like tire rubber was burned on the nails and left behind to dry. I don't get why this is such a hot in look - it rarely looks good on anyone.
Pretty shade of crackle. I only have the Sally Hansen Crackle Topcoats. They do dry dull. I've read just to use thin coats. Shame that the crackle does look kind of nasty! Sorry!
