Essie Absolutely Shore

(3 coats)

Formula problems (to put it mildly - just look at the photo) and a strangely blah and unflattering color (honestly, if a black woman can't work a pale pastel to death, who the hell can?).

To the purge pile she goes.

Best polish commentary ever. :-)

Such a shame you didn't like it. I had it on a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loved it (you can check my post if you want). No formula issues with my bottle either. Maybe you got a bottle from a bad batch :(

I don't own any essie yet and I guess my first one won't be this one :)

Oh noes!! I love this one on me actually :(

That IS a tricky polish, like so many of its pastel brethren. I actually think it looks kind of nifty on you though.

Agree with you. It does nothing at all to flatter and it's not unique in shade. If you needed a stamping polish or something for mixing into Frankens fine. It's really blaugh!

You are so funny! Not thrilled with this one.

I think it looks better on you than you think.

This is one of the few colors I wear all the time! I love celadon, it's such a peaceful, chic, zen color that compliments a lot of my wardrobe too. I'm even considering painting my bedroom this color.

i wish this was an opaque shimmer instead of a watery creme...

Charlotte, Crumpet, Lucy - lol thx :)

greeneyes, fashion, k2k, Beckbeck, Cat - great minds can think differently. :)

lenae - there are many undeniably beautiful ones that almost everybody loves, so this wouldn't be my first choice.

Cristina, beachgal - and great minds can also think alike!

Crystal - Isn't there a Misa kind of like that?
