Sally Hansen Sequin Scandal

(2 coats)

I bought 6 Sally Salons on ebay just to get this color and this ended up being one of my least favorite ones! It's just kind of eh for me. But goodness is the Salon formula wonderful.

Is is a dark olive base? If you know: is it close to Essie Armed & Ready and/or Butter London Wallis...?

That's a shame. Maybe one of the others will turn out to be really special. I don't think this isn't that bad.

The formula is lovely, but I have to admit to being somewhat let down by the colour, too. I think I was hoping for more depth. Also, the name kills me. :P

Gosh, I hate it when that happens! Did you at least the like other ones? What were the other 5 in your ebay lot?

Marias - Sadly I don't know the answer to the comparison question. I'd say it's more of a brown base with lots of gold shimmer which makes it look dark olive.

MariJo - Glad you like!

Lucy - It isn't bad. But I wasn't blown away.

Lacquer Tracker - Exactly! More depth!

Snowydrops - I got Wet Cement in that package and it is now in my Top 20! It is a huge fav.

Thank you for the reply. In the meantime I have gotten both Essie Armed & Ready and Butter London Wallis, the first is on my blog, and it looks like it has less shimmer - but OH Wallis is SOOOO gorgeous :)
