Vampy shimmers! I miss them so much by the time winter rolls around. Teasy Does It, Russian Navy, etc., and I'll definitely be making room in that lineup for OPI Live and Let Die for many winters to come. It's my NOTD and I'm loving it.
It must be my monitor, since this lovely color looks much more lilac than rose. For me, fall/winter usually means fewer pastels and more maroons, greys, dark blues and browns.
I agree with you, pale, cool, creamy colours are my faves for winter. I LOVE 'Steady as She Rose' I bought it on a whim, and have gotten a ton of wear out of it.
GIRL. That's a lot to go through. And I'm also *thisclose* to quitting grad school. If I'm remembering correctly (and lord knows I may not be) you're in the sciences; I'm in the humanities. They're worlds apart and often at odds, but if you ever want to talk to someone shoot me an email (snf5 AT case DOT edu). We lady grads need to stick together.

I love wearing reds and golds for the holidays, or vampy plum shades. But for more neutrals looks, I like wearing dusty colors like this as well. :)

Beautiful color! Winter means bright reds and pale grays to me.

Your nails look fab
Grace - Totally, I get sick of them really quickly and I usually ignore them, but OMG come October I'm thirsting for them.
Isis - It is a strange color. It's quite cool in person as well.
Gele, Liz - Gold is big for me too!
Monica - fair :)
Steph - I think you meant to post this to K2K's post. Send her an e-mail through our contact page and I'll make sure she gets it.
Your pics convinced me to buy this! My hands and nail beds are very similar in color and I have been looking for a great opaque nude.
