LA Splash swatches

CherryCulture is probably one of my favorite websites to haul from when they have their awesome sales. So I was totally psyched when they started carrying more of a brand that I hadn't really known about, LA Splash. I ordered a good handful (at $3.99 each) and these are the two I've swatched so far. All the other ones I got were glitters but here is one jelly and one shimmer+glitter combo.

LA Splash Blowfish Blue

Just one step below neon blue, dries matte like a neon, except it's a jelly. Three coats, okay application. Not a great polish on its own but might be very useful in gradients or frankens. We'll see.

LA Splash Golden Moss

I like the idea. Moss green shimmering jelly with small gold hex glitter. Except the moss green isn't vivid enough so it kind of just looks like muddy marinated seaweed with chunky pieces. Definitely needs topcoat (it has none here). Three coats to get rid of VNL.

Close-up of Golden Moss

Okay. So it's not an auspicious start. But I'm a huge sucker for glitters and those will be swatched some day very soon. :)

Golden Moss looked a little matte at first sight, maybe you can do it in matte to? :D

I like them both. I love Cherry Culture for their bargains also. I'm trying to ignore them for now.
