Funky Fingers Cheshire

Funky Fingers, why can I not find you in the midwest?

After my slight disappointment in Orly Gumdrop the other day, I began scouring my collection for a color that would slap a smile on my face - a little pick-me-up, if you will. I laid my eyes on Funky Fingers Cheshire and just knew that this one would fit the bill.

As a polish brand, Funky Fingers has been nothing but all-star for me, but that might be because this is my only one. HA! Cheshire is a fabulous medium lavender creme but was incredibly hard to capture so I hope that this photo at least gives a bit of impression of how awesome this color is. So awesome, in fact, that TWO (two!) different random people told me how much they loved the color, one of them being the mechanic who changed the oil in my Honda. Super sweet!

The only problem with Funky Fingers is that they seem to be notoriously hard to find. From what I could find online, they are only sold in Five Below stores on the east coast. Is this true? Have any of you scored this brand somewhere else? The only other down side was the color choice; though the colors were awesome, they all seemed like ones I already owned, which was a tad disappointing.

Funky Fingers forever!

Happy day, all!

  2. This is my favorite kind of purple! It looks like an exact dupe of Color Club Pucci-licious... Does Cheshire dry to a neon/matte finish?

  3. @Tessa - Thank you, friend!

@faerieberry - I thought it might be, too, but I'm not sure as I don't have Pucci-licious. Is it a fave of yours? As for the finish, it dries fairly glossy. Definitely an all-star polish!

  4. I've never even heard of this brand! I think I've seen a 5 Below store somewhere, but I can't recall. I'll have to make a mental note to actually go inside next time. Are they Big3 Free?

  5. I *think* Funky Fingers comes out with dupes of Color Club, that's why i never bought them when I see them at Five Below.

It does look a lot like Puccilicious from you picture! Puccilicious is actually my fav mani from this summer :)

  6. @Grace - From what I can tell, 5 Below stores are only PA, NJ, MD and maybe DE. They are actually pretty great inside, you should check them out!

@Adrienne - I think you are right! I just found a comparison on another blog and they do look the same. Incredible. You learn something new everyday! Ha!

  10. @Lucy - thank you!

@jaljen - good question! this was from a collection that Funky Fingers put out during the Alice in Wonderland craze in the US, so I believe that it references the Cheshire Cat.

@Laynie - It so does, and you are completely right!
