I applied three coats of each in the same order as above, from thumb to pinkie. I took this picture in the sun.

I was hoping to find a dupe for Waking Up In Vegas, but I didn't. What I actually found was that it's probably my least favorite of these polishes. It just seems to not go as well with my skin tone, unfortunately. Oh well, I still needed to have it for the name. It seems like a lighter version of Recycle, but I prefer Recycle with my skin tone.
High Society and Vintage Gray are very similar in color, but Vintage Gray is lighter. There's probably no reason to own both since they're quite similar, though if you like this type of color, then owning both might be a good thing for you since they aren't dupes.
Point Break and Recycle are the darkest greys in this comparison. Point Break leans blue whereas Recycle seems to lean a bit green.

ReplyDeleteI *love* your comps. Can I make a suggestion, though? It would be easier to compare if you could label the pics or maybe just post the names between two pics or the like. It can be awkward to scroll up and down between the names and the pics. I hope you don't take this as a criticism because I definitely don't mean in that way. I really enjoy your posts and find your comps especially helpful!

ReplyDeleteThe only one of those that I have is Recycle, which I love. The first 3 colors look downright taupe or greige in comparison to the last two.

ReplyDeleteOoooh, I like! I love gray & taupe polishes. I already have Revlon's Gray Suede and Sally Hansen's Commander in Chic. I think I will grab some of these as well.

ReplyDeleteHigh Society looks like the perfect taupe. Now I want it. It also looks the closest to Waking up in Vegas, except that one seems to have a slight green, while HS has a slight brown.
ReplyDeleteThe only gray I have is Maybelline Gray T Glamour from the NY Fashion Week collection, but its in my untrieds.
I only own Recycle. Love those dark greys. I also have many other greys. I rarely wear them and I don't know why!
