A "HTF" - Essie Cindy-rella

Today I thought I'd share with you one of the hard-to-find (HTF) polishes in my collection that is "classic kittytokaren" - Essie Cindy-rella.

In the evening sun...look at that sparkle!

I don't have many HTF polishes in my collection, but this rare bird was an Ulta exclusive a while back and I spent quite a bit of time tracking it down. It's basically the pink version of one of my all-time favs - Essie Tennis Corset. (Check out some Tennis Corset manis here and here.) They have the same gold glitter in a milky sheer base. Unlike a lot of rare polishes that I've tracked down, this one did not disappoint me at all - I love it!

What is the rarest/hardest to find polish you have in your collection?

That is a really pretty polish! We don't have any Ultas in NYC and it absolutely kills me! I don't think I have any HTF polishes in my collection, actually. I do have an ANCIENT bottle of Sally Hansen Chrome that I could never bring myself to part with, but I'm not sure that counts.

I am not normally a commenter, but that color is just gorgeous. It's much more my style than brightly colored or hyper glittery polishes. Now I'm on a mission to find a good dupe or franken something. We shall see...

This fits your skin color very well, it's like a lite cotton candy.

@Piff - Ughhh you are so lucky to have SSN! Jealous!

@Oh my poilsh - Thank you!!

@Tamar - Essie makes a ton of shimmery polishes in both darks and pale colours. I'll be showing you guys Over the Top soon, which is another great shimmer from them.

@Grace - That totally counts!! Some people really hunt down those old polishes!! And not having an Ulta sucks - even though I'm avoiding mine right now....

@Senora H-B - Thanks for commenting! I'm really glad you like it. I'm also not into hyper glittery polishes. A good way to fake this is use a pink sheer, like Mademoiselle or something even pinker, and layer Essie Tennis Corset over the top - it has the same shimmer in it. Tennis Corset is also discontinued, but much much easier to find than this one!

@April - Thank you - and it is a bit like cotton candy! :) I like the imagery.

I really love that! So delicate.

I have Hidden Treasure and OPI Mad as a Hatter and Absolutely Alice, and those are getting harder to find by the day. However, I don't have any really hard-to-find polishes, unfortunately.

@Martha - Thank you! And you're right..delicate is a good word for it.

@Zara - I would definitely count those as HTF!! They just came out more recently, but look at eBay prices for those - insane!

I love this! I've actually been layering Tennis Corset over different Essie pinks to achieve this look. Can you suggest which pink might be the best to use to come close to this? Thanks!

OMG!!! I have been lemming this for years I didn't know you were lucky enough to own it! I am so jealous! t is beautiful.

I have a few HTF's in my collex but they wern't that hard for me to get because I got them at release. But I did track down Chanel Sattelite which was tricky, I used to own it but used it up years ago. Unfortunatly it wasn't as pretty on it's own as I remembered but it looks awesome over black. Its Silver and Gold glitter in a clear base with bronze microglitter.
