OPI La Paz-itively Hot Matte and au revoir for the week! :)

I'm off to France today. Love conferences in cool places. I also love that the NSF came through with $1500 funding to cover travel and lodging (which is JUST enough, given the really high prices of plane tickets to Europe from the US lately). Let's hope that they'll allow me to carry on my poster tube because I do NOT want to lose this thing.

OPI La Paz-itively Hot Matte

It's flat on the nail at a distance but it's gorgeous up close. The multicolored shimmer is lovely. Applied really nicely for a matte; the above is two coats. One coat is ideal because with more than one, you run the risk of clumping. This was taken on day 3; it's pretty tenacious!

No, I am not wearing this to the conference...

Have a great & safe trip! Nice pink. I keep looking at this one only not the matte finish. Wondering if all the colors in the fuchsia show up in the shiny finish version?

Rock-or-Not: Well, I'm flying into Paris and hanging out in the city for a couple of hours while waiting for a train to Poitiers. (I apparently was a little late in booking my TGV ticket and I had two options: wait in the airport for six hours and take the next train OR haul myself and my luggage and my big conference poster through the Metro and hang out around the Monparnasse station for two hours. And, you know, look like a lost tourist. Which I hate doing.)

beachgal: Thanks! I dunno if the original La Paz shows off the shimmer better but I suspect that it does.

Have a fantastic time in Paris! I know you have work but you will have some down time. Enjoy yourself and relax. Love this polish. It's a gorgeous one.
