Clean Slate - Essie T-Bills Putty

I'm struggling in my relationship right now, so I needed a "clean slate" polish. Something neutral that wasn't sugary sweet and pink. Essie T-Bills Putty has rapidly become one of my favourite nudes - I used it previously as the base of my new French mani.

A beautiful neutral creme...just perfect. It is quite similar to my old stand-by - Essie Jazz. It is a bit lighter and a smidge pinker than Jazz, which you can see here:

(L: T-Bills Putty, R: Jazz)

The formula was old-school. Runny, watery, chemical-laden, but buildable. This was 2.5 coats.

Pretty, but not enough to mend a broken heart.

Good luck in your relationship. Hope you work it out whatever the outcome may be.

Very pretty and neutral...but just curious...how do you do 2.5 coats?

I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time. Your nails look fabulous, though. I was inspired by your new round shape and decided to give it a try - I feel like it depends on the color I'm wearing whether or not I like it on me. However, my nails do feel a lot stronger this way and I actually went a whole week without catching a corner on anything, so... for that reason alone, I think I might stick with it for a bit.

I can definitely relate to the whole relationship issues thing right now. Just keep your head up, things will work out for the best, even if it doesn't seem that way at first. I hope you feel better soon. This is a great color, btw. Thanks for swatching. :)

Sending you hugs. We've all been there but it never seems to get easier. Your big project I just read in the next forward post really was a good thing to do timing wise - cleaning out really helps - a hair cut helps too I usually find.
