Soooo...after my last post on Essie Off the Shoulder, I talked to a couple of you lovely readers in the comments about Bikini So Teeny from the same collection. I had a bunch of expiring CVS Extrabucks, and decided to pick this up on a whim - thanks to the seed planted in my brain!
And I just want to say THANK YOU! I looveeee this polish! It's the perfect sky blue. It's a colour I will only wear in spring/summer - it's a great cool contrast to the warm coral tops I've been wearing, and also offers a nice counterpoint for casual hot pink T-shirts. The formula is fantastic to apply. There is some shimmer in the bottle, but I really don't see it on the nail - which is fine, I'm a creme finish girl!
So happy about this purchase - and thanks to coupons, it only cost me a couple dollars! What's your latest purchase? Tell me how you ended up liking it!

I didn't want to get this either and of course after seeing this beauty on many blogs makes me want to buy it asap!!
Lovely lovely color, makes me want to have one.
I love it, but i convinced myself that i didn't need it. And now it happens to be sold out everywhere, of course I gotta have it!:p
So funny - I remember commenting previously that I had no interest in this collection and you agreed. I wound up picking up the mini set because it was so cheap online and really liked a few of the colors (although not enough to pick up full size bottles), and it seems like you eventually caved in as well. I agree this is a really pretty color, and a nice break from all the brights I usually wear during the summer.Decent formula, too, for an almost-pastel.
I almost did not buy this one but the on line photos got me. I RARELY find any polish in powder blue that I can wear. They all turn my hands looking lobster red. They have to have a cornflower, lavender or some kind of hint of something in it to move it out of the chalky white powerder blue for me to pull it off. I can wear this one. I think it's got a touch of lavender in it making it just a hint of periwinkle that pulls it into a range I can wear. So wish I had a CVS close to me. I like when I am out of town and go in to some I have seen - the bigger ones have a lot of different brands and even some old long discontinued OPI shades.
I love this color, but I can't wear it. It's too cool toned for me. :(
I kept seeing it, and kept thinking I didn't need it. A friend had it, though, and I swatched it...and HAD TO HAVE IT. It's such a pretty shade!! My friend is very fair, pink-toned; it flatters her. I'm olive-y and dark, and it looks good on me, too! It looks fabulous on you, too, k2k! :)
I scored on Tuesday! I got a 3 pack of Essie polishes for $8.99 at Ross and 3 more Essie polishes for $3.99 a piece at TJ Maxx. I also got 2 Orly and 3 CG from the clearance bin at Sally's. I love saving money though it's not like I needed any of it :)
Ohh this shade is on it's way to me and I can't wait for it to arrive. Looks gorgeous on you!

I keep seeing and debating it. I think I'm going to have to give in and get it!
My latest purchase though were some Skin Food polishes that I picked up at the new store. I absolutely -loved- the red color on me. I'm not a red girl, but it was lovely and glowy and easy to apply! I look forward to trying it again when my nails are a bit longer and not so chip prone.
I looove Bikini so teeny and have worn it 3 times already since I got it, which is a lot considering how many polishes I have. It looks great on you!
i keep seeing this around, but i'm hesitant to get it because it looks a lot like lapis of luxury from them. which i already own, and barely wear because it's so sheer. it is a very pretty color though.
Love the color!
