A jelly sandwich

It's been raining endlessly in the UK. I've scheduled this in advance since I'll be away for a fortnight in July toasting myself in Spain, from which I'll likely return with ravaged nails and freckles so I am trying to schedule as many posts as I can for that time.

Still, imagine this as being weather appropriate to drizzly England, not sunny Spain. This is Illamasqua raindrops sandwiched between OPI Last Friday Night which I got in a swap on MUA and am a little bit obsessed with. It is super sheer so I'm thinking of layering it over one of my other blues, maybe Illamasqua Caress or CG Frostbite. It would look amazing over a blue jelly, but I don't think I have any.

I love Last Friday Night, but I've never tried layering it over a light blue. It looks great in your sammy. BTW, if you layer it over just 1 coat of Frostbite, you can get LFN to look like the bottle color, which I learned about in a post at Swatch and Learn.

i like to use SC hottie (dupe! for LFN) over teals like opi austin-tatious turquoise and in between layers of essie's secret stash- it makes a squishy, sparkly purple sammy :)

I really like this! It's subtle but very pretty.

I used My Pointe Exactly with Last Friday Night and got a really similar finish!

Ohhh! This is brilliant. I love this layering combo! I almost bought Raindrops when I was in London last, and ended up passing... I've been kicking myself ever since!
