OPI Germany - Two creams

I already showed you the two vampy shimmers I picked up from the OPI Germany collection, and here are the two creams that I ended up grabbing later. I know just about the last person to blog these, but better late than never! I tried, but I could not resist the siren song of a beautiful taupe and a deep murky green...I am weak.

OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine! (Ugh what a name. Seriously, Suzi? Seriously.)

I do love a dark green. And this one is very pretty. Dark with a handful of grey in it, it might be more grey than green. Compared to Essie Power Clutch, it is darker and more green. It's a hair lighter than Essie Stylenomics, which doesn't contain as much grey as this and is a bit bluer. The formula is really lovely and two coats were all that was needed.

OPI Berlin There, Done That (Better name...by a bit.)

Oh taupe...by far the predominant colour in my collection. I can't seem to get rid of them. To be fair, I do wear taupe polishes a lot! This particular incarnation has more grey in it than something like Essie Mink Muffs or Chanel Particuliere, but more brown than Essie Chinchilly, and is a lot lighter than OPI's You Don't Know Jacques. The word that comes to mind when I see this polish is "elegant". So in my stash it stays.

I love both of these, they look great on you, but since I have so many similar shades to these, I'm skipping them

@Deborah - It is very pretty!

@hermetic - Yep, they aren't especially unique. I do have the say the formulas are quite nice though.

@Gosia - I'm so glad you like it!

Nein! Nein! Nein! OK Fine! is a green that I need to get. Your perfect application makes it look so good.

These look wonderful on you. They seem very work appropriate, which I need to get into.

@Guy Polish - Hey Jim! Psshh perfect application is not true (just blow up the picture) but thank you! I think Nein is a great murky green. Let me know if you pick it up!

@Julie - Thank you! I've been wearing them to work no problem. I work in a casual environment, but I still think they would be fine in an office setting..especially the taupe!

I did not pick up both of these on my first shopping trip in the Germany collection. I thought I had plenty of like shade. I kept seeing photos of Nein where the green really showed. I 'visited' it again in person and did not see it. Being that I have a # of deep gray shades that have 'something' else in them but they never seem to show up in most lighting, I still have not added Nein to my stash. But I totally fell for Berlin on my 2nd visit with this collection. It's so not just another nude. It works so well - not too yellow, not too pink, not too brown, and certainly not chalky looking on the nail. I am in love with this shade right now - esp since it's been in the 90's this week and STILL very much summer. I can sport the fall nudes and feel like they go with the shorts/sandals I am still wearing.

I love those, too! I think Berlin There, Done That is my favoritest gray ever — so elegant!
