China Glaze Starboard
Marvelous emerald green creme. This one just kept going and going. This was taken on the fourth day of wear (with Gelous and Diamont). A bit of tipwear but that's about it!
I felt that this one was unexpectedly pretty and flattering. I don't wear peaches well (very lobster hands) but this peachy beige with silver shimmer was a nice surprise. Three coats, though it probably could have gone with two.
I keep looking at Starboard. I think I might need it. Sunset Sail looked weird on me, but I'm holding off on gifting it away until I give it another try.
ReplyDeleteDo you use Gelous between the color and topcoat? That's what I've been doing recently and I got seven--SEVEN--days of wear out of an American Apparel polish. When I took it off I was just sick of the color. I hypothesize I could have worn it for several more days without any chipping consequences. I. Was. Amazed.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I feel like I need Sunset Sail now.
Mmm.. that type of peachy is great. I'm just worried I would look a bit pale in that beautiful color..
ReplyDeleteLove that green! That's one I'll definitely be ordering. Not to crazy about Sunset Sail.
ReplyDeleteWow, I hope Starboard wears that well on me! Both colors look gorgeous on you.
ReplyDeleteSunset Sail is such a gorgeous color!
ReplyDeleteThat peach is really unusual, kind of nude, kind of peach, really nice actually. I want Sea Spray though!x
