Every year I look forward to OPI's Ulta-exlusive holiday colours. After all, it's the release that brought us Dazzled by Gold a few years back! This year OPI deviated from their traditional red/purple/gold scheme and offered us two reds and a silver. I did not pick up the reds - one is an exact dupe of Excuse Moi from the Muppets collection and the other looks identical to China Glaze Ruby Pumps. But, I did pick up the silver glitter!
As you know, I'm not really a glitter person, but I've been feeling festive. If I'm going to do glitter it's definitely going to be in a metallic shade!
This is OPI How's It Snowin?...
A wee bit closer up so you can see the different sizes of glitter in the polish...
The colour of this glitter makes it much more wearable to me! It's deep and smokey, and I love that. The glitter is also the same texture/shape/size/whathaveyou as one of my other favourite glitters - OPI Spark de Triomphe - it is simply different in colour.
All in all, this definitely put me in the holiday spirit!
Have you picked up any of the OPI Ulta holiday polishes this year?

Such a nice polish!
ReplyDeleteOh I like this!
ReplyDeleteWow, I really like this! We don't have an Ulta around here, so I always miss out on these. The base color reminds me of the silver Milani One Coat Glitter (which is still in my untried pile), but that doesn't have the larger hex pieces. Are the Ulta exclusives available on line or only in the stores?
ReplyDeleteOhh I love this! Too bad I don't live near an Ulta!
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought any of the Christmas OPI's. This is so pretty & sparkly. I'll add it to my list.
ReplyDeleteI love the glitter polishes but I find that it takes forever to remove them. But that colour is amazing and I'm tempted :/

I actually got this for free during Ulta's buy 2 OPI's and get one of the holiday colors free! It's still going on I think...this was the only color they had left but it was the one I wanted.
ReplyDeletelove this, but i am unable to get them....hope it's close to cg tinseltown :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks a lot like China Glaze's "Tinsel Town". I'm quite curious how they look side by side.
ReplyDeleteI got this one but not the reds. Haven't tried it yet, though! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw this in the store today actually but wasn't all that impressed until I saw it here. It looked like it had an odd watery bluish base and I really didn't think it was anything special. But now... I need it! Ulta... here I come! haha
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice looking but sadly I don't think we will get it.
ReplyDeleteHow many coats did you used for full opacity?
Wow! Looks awsome!
