I was doing research work and then the mail came: Missha bottle pics

I don't even remember how I found out about Missha but when I saw the price ($1.59), I decided I needed to haul. Shipping was an ouchy $8.99 -- especially since I was just in NYC -- but for 10 bottles, I ended up paying about $2.30 a bottle. And what a cuuuuuute bottle it is. I don't have any time for swatches today (or labelling, even) but I had to show these little 0.39 fl oz cuties off.

Cremes:

Not-cremes:

Shipping time was less than a week from East to West Coast. Hope these apply and wear well, too! Because move over Diamond Cosmetics, we've got a new cheap thrill in town. ;)

Missha isn't in Manhattan any more, just in some mall way out in Queens (which is too bad because I really like their stuff). As a New Yorker I think you made the right choice paying for postage rather than making the trip during a short vacation.

How cute those polish bottle are. I hope they turn out to be great polishes. How did you find out about these?

Anon #1: My mom works in Queens and the first morning I was back (after a friggin' red eye) she dragged me to Flushing to show me her new office set-up. Could've gone then... :) I remember reading on their website that they recently opened up in Manhattan again, Times Sq, I think.

Lucy: I don't remember. I think I was clicking on random Japanese beauty supply etailers -- interesting exercise because I can't read Japanese, though I can read some Chinese characters -- and started googling random brand names on pictures of polish bottles.

I had a set of 5 that my Uncle gave me. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure the purple in the center bottom pic is one of them. I loved those polishes, very fun colors!

Oh and Flinty, check out The Face Shop in Flushing next time you go home. I discovered it by accident when I went there last week during a visit with my family. Looked on their website for the address: 136-62, 39Th Ave. Flushing, NY 11354 U.S.A.

Adrienne: Thanks for the head's up! I just tried some Face Shop polishes and they apply beautifully. I'm encouraged to try more!

Inbal: LOL, they are kind of a Rockette lineup when I look at them. :)

Kris: Neither! I have a huge line of to-swatch polishes though...

Maestra: For $1.50, its hard to lose out, imo. :)
