Procrastination and a Holiday Gradient Sparkly NOTD

Hello! Hope everyone is enjoying the days leading up to the holidays. I know I can't WAIT to open the many presents under the tree! Remember the paper I have due on Jan. 10? Yeah, still haven't started. :P What can I say, I love to procrastinate!

Also, thank you to all of the kind commenters who made me feel much better about my B+. I am a perfectionist and it's really hard to admit defeat. But, I am grateful it's not a B-, or a C, you know? I'm still waiting for my other grades.

So on to my holiday NOTD. I started with a base of OPI Dear Santa, which I wore for a full day before adding my bling. This is 3 coats of Dear Santa.

I was told by coworkers that it looked like I had wrapping paper on my nails!

I agree looking at this pic!

Then I was inspired by MUA user mariannaoust's interpretation of a gradient holiday mani and nihrida's tutorial for shooting stars. I used a Color Club mini silver glitter (from one of the mini kits), then Color Club Under the Mistletoe, and last Color Club Object of Envy. I put a dollop or two of the chosen glitter and then immediately brushed it out over the nail using Orly Smudge Fixer. I topped everything off with a coat of Nubar Diamont. I am totally in love with this mani and very proud!!

See the snow? We got 2-3 feet!

Next to my (faux) X-mas tree.

And a few bonus pics of my 2 kitties watching the snow fall.

You can purchase Orly Smudge Fixer as well as the glitters I used above from pretty much any of the major e-tailers.

Thanks for reading and have a great holiday!
