This is a mani from a few weeks ago. It's 3 coats of China Glaze Moulin Rouge and on my middle finger is 4+ (!!!) coats of OPI Black Onyx. WORST BLACK NP EVER. I had never tried it before and UGH. I'm going to try and franken it with something.
This was taken in direct sunlight.
Next up is my current NOTD. I was inspired by painted Lady fingers's mani but, to my surprise, I do not own one light pink! This is 2 coats of OPI I'm Indi-A Mood for Love with Color Club Art of Seduction gradieted over it using Orly Smudge Fixer. It needs another coat of topcoat but I really love this look. I'm considering Konad-ing over it or putting another coat of glitter on it.
If you're interested in trying a gradient mani with Orly Smudge Fixer, it's super easy. In my case, I paint on my base color and complete it with topcoat and all. Then I wait about 10-15 minutes for my mani to generally dry. Once it's dry, I put 1-2 little drops of the glitter on the base of my nail. Then I immediately take Smudge Fixer and brush it over the glitter and spread it out over the nail. Ta-Da! Gradient effect! It's really easy and not at all time-consuming.
This was taken in direct sunlight.
And here's some insight into the snow us east-coasters received this week! These photos were taken yesterday afternoon, so it actually got worse since then, though the sidewalks are now shoveled.
Again, I'm really sorry for being such a bad blogger. Luckily, you have many other lovely ladies on PorP to keep you entertained!

And OMG... so jealous. That snow is gorgeous! Did you make angels? :D
Beautiful pictures! I am surprised that Black Onyx took four coats for you, mine goes on nicely in two.

Your gradient with smudge fixer is absolutely brilliant! It is perfect! What a nice way to perk up after all of the SNOW.
You did a beautiful job with the gradient! Art of Seduction seems to work well with different shades of pink. <3
