Last week however, I returned to the States to enjoy sunny (very sunny!) Chicago. It was a whirlwind trip - I really went just to see the Shedd Aquarium - and was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. If you are from Chicago, your city is amazing. I feel privileged just being able to visit. (And if you don't already love Shedd and everything it has to offer, go now and enjoy it!) I also had an opportunity to check out some of the other museums in the city and I know I've gotta repeat this trip because there are just so many things to see and do.
Oh! And the bonus? An Ulta was within a stone's throw of my hotel. Imagine my luck that Ulta was also having a polish sale! $2 a bottle... I hope it is as good as you guys say! :) (Sorry for the crappy photos... I took them while at the hotel... the bf was sleeping, it was dark...the lighting sucked... but I was excited.) :P

Ahh, I can't wait to see these swatched. Great haul!
U've got some pretty good stuff! and thanks for showing my city so much love!
I am DYING over some of those Ulta Cremes! I just picked up Sun-sational and a few others and can't wait to try them. I am so excited to see your swatches!
I've never tried Ulta's polishes. You've really chosen a lovely selection of shades. The green is amazing looking. The purple shades are so rich looking. I've never been to Chicago. I'd love to go.
@everybody: Thank you. :) I am excited to see my swatches too... LOL. I think the other ladies on this blog are *much* better about swatching than I am. I don't often wear my nail colour bare and nail art often takes a while to think about (or execute) so I don't change my polish often. I may just have to run through these though because I really, really want to see how they look!
One of my frustrations about swatching is the removal of polish. Whenever I take off my polish it ends up everywhere, often making a huge mess of my cuticles. If somebody has tips on how to avoid that, I'd probably be more keen on swatching!
@Mona: How luck you are to live in such an amazing city. It truly is a beautiful place! (The beaches are incredible! And I say this being born in the Caribbean.) ;)
