Fortunately, this polish made me feel better. Two creamy coats of jade green goodness made me a little cheerier ever time I had cause to look at it. I'm also trying a new base/top coat, the Lumos system, as recommended by Charlotte of Lipglossiping. (A very good friend of mine also bought the set after reading this post, so I'm pleased to know I'm not the only susceptible one!). I'm just pleased that I can finally tell Seche Vite to get bent, after wasting huge amounts of money on bottles that to turn to pudding one-third the way in.
What polishes make you feel zen-like?

Lol, the name is funny in my opinion. Lol, I like this color too. Oh, and your nails are really nice.
The name IS funny and the polish looks great. Love the color!
Nudes make me feel very zen. So do deep blues... so hypnotic... lol. This is a lovely color :)
Zen-like is a very good description for this color. I think it is very good against your skin tones.
I wonder how many people don't get the reference of MILF. hee hee
love it! quite original i think :)
After looking up the name (yes, I am so bad I have to look up names), I must agree that the name is very, very filthy but the color is gorgeous (and seemingly innocent. Then again, most pastels do come off innocent. I think we equate pastels with innocence because we stick our kids in them without their consent.) It looks gorgeous on you!
I am looking for a new topcoat as my Essie good to go shrinks on some polishes... Thanks for the info/link/post... x
ps I have lots of illamasqua polishes but not this one. Want it.
I find it a little patchy and bubbly, and I think there are many other similar shades that apply better, so I don't find this color that special
Love that color! Then again, I love all greens but this is so minty and pretty!
Love that green and your nails are so long an gorgoeus, wonder how in the world do you keep them that length and gorgoeus? It's a funny name "Mothers I would...(you fill in the blank) I had to look that up, ha ha ...Love this shade of green and I am curious why Illamasqua would name a nail polish a name like that, LOL
You would never see OPI, China Glaze or Orly do that, or have they and I never knew it...Namaste. ha ha
Love,
George :)
@ Minty, miss Felicity - I love the name too :D Especially when people ask what polish I'm wearing. 'Milf!' 'huh...?!'
@Laura - ooh, deep blue, good call.
@ Kimberly - thanks, it's such a winner for me. Total no-brainer polish.
@ Suz - it doesn't dupe any of my other mints, and I have a LOT of mints.
@ Katie - hmmm, that's an interesting thought, not one I'd really considered. I suppose because jade is relatively gender-neutral it hadn't occurred to me but I can't think of a better explanation!
@ Ruthy - let me know how you get on. It definitely doesn't shrink my polishes but the brush isn't the best and it's quite liquidy/thin, which is great in some circumstances and bad in others.
@ Natalia - I do find it a teeny bit bubbly (but not enough to put me off) - what similar colours would you recommend?
@ Lacquered lover - thanks :D
@ Geo58 - they don't seem that long to me, because my nail beds are quite long (see this post) but I suppose all the manicuring helps! I used to bite them as a teenager and they were total nubbins (and not the good kind) so now I try to file them regularly and wear a strengthener (CG calcium fortifier is my favourite) under my base coat where I can. My mum has great nails though so I probably got a bit lucky in the genetics stakes. I'm hoping to get her in for a guest post soon.
Glad that a green is a comfort color for you. I adore greens. I haven't gotten sick of them yet. I even still love all the mints.
