China Glaze 108 Degrees

You know, I received this from China Glaze in the spring (and wore and photographed it in spring) but it seems much more appropriate to post this in summer, don't you think?

China Glaze 108 Degrees

Hot magenta jelly with either pink or purple shimmer. It is HOT. (The polish, not the weather. At least, not for me.) Still some VNL at three coats, as befits a jelly. :)

I just love China Glaze's Island Escape collection and own all 6 shades. 108 Degree is the only one I would not wear solo. Not because I don't like the color (it's really gorgeous with its glass flecks) but pinks just don't suit me...

This polish is GORGEOUS! Not being a creme OR a pink girl - and being very much a glass-fleck girl - I picked this one up early (along with Cha Cha Cha, Blue Iguana and Seniorita Bonita)and it's been a favorite this summer. My DH loves it too, and whenever he isn't crazy about what I'm wearing will ask, "When are you going to wear that hot pink one again?" LOL!

I really love this one. So pretty with that shimmer in them. Looks so fantastic on you. I believe I need this beauty.

I had to get this loving fuchsias as I do, esp when folks said it was a dupe for OPI's Be A Dahlia Won't You? I found CG 108 to get a bit darker & a little less glass fleck in it, which is a total opposite when thinking CG over OPI! I prefer the OPI of the 2 - but they both are HOT and fab shades. OPI does not have the VNL in 2 coats. They make the perfect toe shade all summer long in my mind!!!
