Before turquoise, I loved mint green. I had this thing about collecting all of the mint green polishes that I could possibly collect (because back then, it wasn't as common) and it still holds a soft spot in my nail polish heart.
CrowsToes: Green Thumb of Doom is perfect layered over mint green. It's a shimmery green that has a multichrome effect from green to blue to gold. The gold shimmer really shows well on the nail. I don't think my pictures quite got it, but even with my love of glitter I didn't get tired of this polish for the week that I wore it (sorry about the nail growth, heh).
Also it's showing up a little bit more aqua in these pictures, but because I used a mint green base, it was more mint green. Not sure why it's not showing up correctly, but you can definitely see the gorgeous shimmer!

Crowstoes: Shoot the Butterfly
This polish caught my attention when I first saw it. I know the colors are kind of Halloween-y, but looking at it, it definitely reminded me of a Monarch butterfly's color scheme.
This is Crowstoes: Shoot the Butterfly. It's a black jelly with copper hexes, small white glitters and holo microglitters. I did one coat over a base coat of black polish with 2 coats on my ring finger. The glitter is definitely not hard to get out of the bottle. I liked the sparse look better, hence layering one layer over black for the majority of my fingers.
I find it whimsical, despite it being black based, haha. The sparkle that the holo microglitter adds really adds depth, along with the base being black so the white glitters are at different depths.
Do you like the look of one layer or two?

grey black & glitter! Darling Diva Roller Girl + Crowstoes Last Call at the Crowbar
Sometimes I get in the mood to have a dark polish on my nails, like black. There are plenty of glitter options to layer over black, and I was wanting to try out a Darling Diva polish that I had purchased recently, Roller Girl.
That is DDP Roller Girl over American Apparel Hassid (my favorite black creme polish). One coat. It's a "soft charcoal shimmer polish with pink and gold mini glitters and holographic hexes of various colors."
But it wasn't quite glitter enough for me, so I added a Crowstoes Last Call at the Crow Bar over it. You can still see Roller Girl underneath it :)
Last Call at the Crow Bar is a multiglitter that has a base of charcoal/grey glitter. It's quite pretty, I need to try it on its own someday over black!
One can find Darling Diva Polish on her Facebook here and her Etsy here. She's currently having a 20% off sale with code "2000LIKES" :)
Crowstoes can be purchased at Overall Beauty and Llarowe :)

Crowstoes: Frog's Breath
I recently met some new online acquaintances to play games with (yay!) and asked what color I should do next for my next manicure (this is how I figure it out most of the time when I have no earthly clue, I asked my friends). So, dedicated to a new friend, Cody! Crowstoes Frog's Breath over Maybelline Green with Envy (which is a mint green).
It's super sparkly and lovely, I love the mixture of green and gold glitter. I went for a mint green because I had seen some swatches and it looked nice, along with me wanting the green glitter in Frog's Breath to stand out.
The end of break is coming and I've been dreading it, but more regular manicures are to be likely since I'll need the calming ritual of doing a manicure in my life again, haha.
One can purchase Crowstoes from Llarowe and Overallbeauty :)
