Ahh, the multichrome glory of Fantasy
Fire! I've had this one sitting in my collection for a while now, just
waiting to be tried, but I couldn't find good underwear for it. Luckily
as I was browsing through Gloss the other day, BYS Matte Royal Blue caught my eye.
It's a very bold, inky blue - a girl I work with grabbed my hands
mid-conversation to marvel at how blue they were! It dries matte, but
not very matte, like anodised aluminium.
3 coats of Matte Royal Blue, 1 coat of Fantasy Fire and Insta-Dri anti-chip topcoat:
So
nommy! I love that it's not super super sparkly, like Orly Space Cadet,
but it's still gorgeous and eyecatching. I kept this one on for a week
with just a bit of tipwear, and I was NOT gentle on my fingers -
Insta-Dri anti-chip topcoat is amazing, period.
Here's a different angle, where you can see the green:
I took heaps of pictures but unfortunately most of them turned out blurry. But that just gives me an excuse to put it on again, right? :D
Looks like my beloved bL Knackered over a gorgeous blue. But it looks a littel bit more purple in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I'm the same mine has been sitting in my collection for a while, have been hunting for the perfect undercoat!
ReplyDeleteWith FF being such a tiny bottle, I found I too waited to use it until I found the perfect underwear to take a test first run with it. I did not want to use a traditional cream black. I think you found a great base shade to use this over. I am left wondering if FF will turn like it's name sake from Clarins did with time/age??
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The shimmer is so amazing in Fantasy Fire. You chose a really great base to go with it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty!! Great choice on the Base Color and smart to wait for the right one to just 'happen' :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so stunning!
ReplyDeleteits so pretty I just wish I could get my hands on Fantasy Fire
ReplyDeleteI won this in a giveaway but still haven't tried it. I'm thinking of wearing it over black.
ReplyDeleteOh, I want this in my life!!! *covets*
ReplyDeleteOhh, I so wish I had access to Fantasy Fire! I has a sad. :(
