I love this polish. I'm bummed out that so many people thought it was supposed to be a shimmerbomb, and were disappointed when it wasn't. It's not *supposed* to be chock full of shimmer - it's supposed to have that chic and elegant subtle hidden shimmer that Chanel does so well. It just adds one extra layer of subtlety to the polish...gorgeous!

@Kathy - Seriously the price is an obstacle. I don't blame you. I think Never Glum Plum is an OK substitute(it's basically Paradoxal without the shimmer) but Barry M Dusky Mauve is a dead-on perfect dupe!! And thanks for the kudos for my Mom!

I've always wondered what kittytokaren meant, and I was listening to "Short Skirt, Long Lacket" by Cake and one line said "She's changing her name from kitty to karen."Is that where you got the name from?
@poprocksncola - Haha yes!! I identify with that song very much and I love Cake! (The band and the food, but mostly the band...) If you look at some of my earlier posts on here they are titled with snippets of other Cake songs. :) So cool that you figured that out!

@emybloom - Paradoxal is still available on the Chanel website, but I was actually able to get it cheaper on ebay (because the shipping on chanel.com is so expensive).
I love this it is one of my all-time favourites, and I get so many compliments on it too!
