Smoky & Sultry Blue - OPI Midnight Blue Glitter

Usually I'm not one for glitter polishes, but this one isn't exactly the glitterbomb that its name promises. Instead it's a sexy, understated, but very special polish that my pictures fail to capture.

OPI Midnight Blue Glitter...

Here I've layered it over Essie Midnight Cami, as on it's own its rather sheer. Even has I hold the bottle in my hand, the colour is very difficult to describe. It seems to be fine round blue glitter (or is it shimmer? ah yes...shitter) as well as even smaller silver glitter in a dark grey-blue jelly base.

Smoky, sultry, and gorgeous. Makes me want to find a reason to break out my long navy blue evening gown...

Shitter? haha, that's a great way to describe a colour!
-"What colour polish is it you're wearing today?"
" A shitter blue "
-"......."

I'm not usually huge on glitter either, but this is really pretty.

I don't even remember seeing OPI Midnight Blue Glitter....will have to look it up to see when it was released. Looks nice over the Essie - I layer a really sheer glitter over this same shade of Essie - like you, not into glitters - esp ones that leave my nail rough to touch or are big and chunky. This is my 'level' of glitter that's just a tish over shimmer. I am really going through a big dusty blue phase right now - this fits right in there as the silver shimmer/glitter gives off a smokey look to the navy.
