I had written off the OPI Spiderman collection. Just Spotted the Lizard was a complete fail for me, and none of the others called my name. Until this one caught my eye in Ulta the other day....
OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls...
When I found this in the store, I rolled the bottle over a few times in my hands and thought "Yeah....yeah this is for me..." I'm glad to say that that feeling remained after I put it on my nails. Tons of people have described this before me and done a magnificent job. Suffice to say, it is mainly white with a good helping of grey to it, that helps to keep it from looking too stark and bright on the nail. It reminds me of paper mache and I think it is supremely cool.
Has anything surprised you in person lately? I really didn't think I needed this before I saw it in the store!

I am not at all a "white nail polish" person but this is just about the most perfect white ever! I am really glad I own this; I've been using it a lot more than I ever thought I would!
I'm looking for a light gray .. was considering Zoya Dove .. but OPI boyfriend maybe the color I'm looking for.

Something works with this one for me too - and I don't usually wear shades that go chalky. This works when an optic white won't. I see it used a ton as the base for nail art/stamping all the time. It just tones down that optic white base so colors blend better. I did not buy this on my first pass of the Spiderman collection but did pick it up later on.
The polish that surprised me of late is Zoya Zvi - I am not a big fan of gold polishes but I really like both Zvi and OPI's Goldeneye (and I don't like glitters either - but Goldeneye is just really pretty).
Also you could have a look at Skull & Glossbones which is a bit more grey than this x x x
This is my favorite "white" ever!! Just the perfect white/grey/cream.. I LOVE!
